In that case, I give you my opinion. I'm a big Sex Pistols fan, and I finally found a vinyl copy of this masterpiece of shit. It's from a sloppy live show that is only held together by the rhythm section of the New York Dolls (Arthur Kane and Jerry Nolan). It is not as bad as I thought, but that's not saying much. The band is not very tight and Sid forgets lyrics and doesn't communicate the ones he remembers with any passion or anger. It just sounds like he was performing the gig to get money to pay his heroin dealer. Now if you were one of the popular kids in high school, you probably thought Sid was the brains behind the Pistols. Listen to this and realize your error.

Sid looked good with a bass; he couldn't play bass to save his life and only contributed one worthy track to the Pistols catalog, 'Belsen Was a Gas.' Since this record is such a dud, I would recommend tracking down the Sex Pistols' The Great Rock n' Roll Swindle, which has his deconstruction of Sinatra's 'My Way.'
